“Lady Nocturna” is the latest single from Denver, Colorado heavy metal group, Immortal Sÿnn. It was released on August 4th, and is available on all major streaming sites and music stores, including the band’s own site - synnstore.com. It is the third song in a string of singles the band has released this year which include “In Æternum” (May 12) and “Take Me” (June 23). It will be the final single before an EP of all new material entitled Hellspawn is released in mid-September.
The song draws heavily from bands of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal era such as Diamond Head, Tygers of Pan Tang, and Saxon. The track also contains a few thrash and progressive elements around the bridge and solo sections, which were originally ideas for a now scraped song.
“Lady Nocturna” was composed by drummer Axel Berrios. Lyrics were written by guitarist Tony Z and tell the story of a demon woman pursuing young men at night. It was inspired by Tony’s own experiences in the local music and bar scenes.
